A few ongoing and completed small projects. Most of them are built on simple rules – one place, one time frame, one mood.
A constrained walk limited to a single hour and a small area around Shimokitazawa station. The focus is on small bars, record stores, reflections in glass and light spilling onto the street.
Kyoto’s main streets fill up quickly, so this series focuses on side alleys and quiet corners in the early hours. Vending machines, small shrines and laundry lines become the main subjects.
A repeated visit to several stations in Osaka at the same time of day. The project looks at lines, posture and color – how commuters unconsciously arrange themselves around signage and platform markings.
A slower series following the coastal train line near Kamakura. The focus is on the way trains move in and out of frame against the sea and the small everyday life details around them.
